I'm Jasper van Herpt, a software developer based in the Netherlands with nearly two decades of hands-on experience building systems that actually work. Today I run Full Join together with two partners. We take on freelance software projects for companies that care about quality — and alongside that work we're building Hyperdrive, a zero-knowledge secure collaboration platform designed for organizations that can't afford to compromise on data sovereignty. I've spent my career working across a wide range of domains and problem spaces, which has given me a practical instinct for cutting through complexity and delivering software that holds up over time. I'm drawn to languages and approaches that make correctness provable rather than hopeful — Rust, Go, Haskell, formal methods. Not because it's fashionable, but because it produces better outcomes.
